My relief that today is Friday is a bit surprising since I only had a four day work week. Somehow these four days felt like 6. Relieved that the weekend is finally upon us.
I went to bed craving strawberry yogurt cereal. I promised myself I would enjoy an extra big bowl once morning came. [Note to self: buy more strawberry yogurt cereal this weekend]
I enjoyed lunch at home today, and I did not eat anymore Thai pasta salad. I couldn’t do it. I think I might have officially overdosed on it yesterday. That and I really needed something warm. Wearing a dress was a bad idea today….brrrr!
What? You’ve never had oatmeal for lunch? Psh it was amazing. I finished off my chocolate peppermint soy milk for this bowl. Luckily I have a second carton in the pantry. While my oats cooked, I had a couple of pumpernickel pretzels with blue cheese dip. [Note to self: buy more pumpernickel pretzels this weekend]
If you ever want to make your coworkers think you are an odd girl, keep a jar of peanut butter on your desk. I like to keep it within an arm’s reach. I also keep a spoon nearby. Emergencies happen, people! I’m like the Marines – always prepared!
I can barely contain my excitement for this weekend. I am cramming so much stuff into tonight and the next two days, I’m going to need another weekend just to relax!
