Back In The Groove

by jessica on January 4, 2012

I’m finally getting back into my routine. The last two weeks with holidays, days off, etc. my workout and food routine got screwed up. Today I woke up for spin and didn’t look back! I’m back in the groove!

This is the never ending pasta salad! The bowl in the fridge always seems to be full. I don’t know how many more days I can eat it though. While it’s good, nothing is that good for this many days in a row!

My new favorite snack! Handfuls of it!

I ate a bit too much cereal though so I had a light dinner. Then it was back to the gym! I’ve been feeling a bit stressed lately and hitting the gym was the perfect remedy. I’ve been needing to amp up the workouts to lose those few pounds that creeped up on me these past couple weeks and it relieved my stress tonight like no other. It feels good to be back to my usual routine!

Did you fall out of your usual routine with the holiday season?

Totally fell out, totally back on. Except this weekend is my fraternity’s annual convention, so I’m sure the booze will be flowing. It’ll be nice to have some semblance of normalcy next weekend. I’m desperate.

As much as I love the holidays and being off of work, it feels good to be back into a routine.

I way more then fell out of my routine, I jumped off the routine cliff. I love that first workout after a break though when you get all your motivation back!
