I found it. It only took two weeks but I have finally found my routine. Back to my regular meals, packing healthy snacks, and working out like I should. London really threw my schedule out of whack. Last week I didn’t know up from down, but this week I am off to a good start. Last night I got plenty of sleep. All of my eats were in check today, and I had my ass handed to me by my workout tonight. Funny how tabatas manage to do that!
My typical lunch…which I missed these past couple of weeks! Turkey & cheddar sandwich (with lots of mustard! yum!), some sort of chips, and FitMixer slim chocolate for dessert. I usually also have some sort of veggie, but my fridge was bare this morning. All I had was chopped peppers & onions and an apple. It was a disgrace!
This past weekend I hosted girls night and it was make your own pizzas. I have so much leftover diced peppers, onion, and tomato. I put it to good use tonight! A couple sprays of olive oil and I fried those right up. I also had two eggs, quarter cup of shredded cheese, and toast with a smear of butter. I love breakfast for dinner, and this one was particularly yummy!
Tabata. I die…in a good way.
I’m sad that FitMixer bootcamp is almost over. With my hectic summer (moving, travel, etc.), I haven’t been as dedicated as I would have liked. I am seriously considering doing it again this fall. It gives me something to be accountable for and with my lack of a gym membership these days, I need accountability! Plus I love the workouts, the products, and the sense of community. For example, I was planning on going to body pump in the morning (yay for guest passes to the gym!), but tomorrow’s FitMixer workouts is one of my favorites. How many workouts are so awesome that they make you want to skip the gym? Exactly.
Part of being back into my routine, is making my protein consumption are priority. Tonight I made some banana soft serve and threw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder. Boom. Dessert with 16 grams of protein. Routine officially found!
