It’s been a marvelous Monday over here!
Aminos during spin followed up by a protein shake
I’m really enjoying the spin classes at the Y. I loved the instructors at my old gym, but the classes at the Y are much smaller. The instructor is great too! Today’s class was beyond intense – a lot of seated climbs, speed work, and all around ass kicking. I enjoyed my protein shake (which I made with coffee instead of water…I can’t get enough) on my back porch.
I wish this cooler weather was staying for a few days. I loved having the windows open, but most of all I love being on my patio. With this summer heat it’s been less than enjoyable. Starting my week out with a great workout and breakfast on the patio felt great. Hopefully this fall I’ll be able to spend even more time out there.
I’m a cereal addict and I’m addicted to the most boring cereals. My favorites are raisin bran, unfrosted shredded wheat, and bran flakes. Use some unsweetened vanilla almond milk….holy yum. One of my favorite lunches during the week is to come home and have a bowl of cereal (or two) on the couch.
High protein snacks for the win!
My snacks for the day have been cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. I like to keep my snacks as high in protein as possible. Gotta build that muscle! Plus the vanilla chocolate chunk Chobani tastes like dessert. Perfect lunch dessert!
How will I make the rest of my day marvelous? Going for a walk with Abby, doing some ab work, and hopefully organizing my closet!
