Today took an interesting turn after work.
I met up with Aimee at Rock Cut Park.
Stand-up Paddleboarding FINALLY.
Like a boss.
Ha no. Not really. I didn’t fall in, but I was nowhere near a pro. It was much easier than I expected. I’m glad I didn’t fork over $50 for a lesson in Madison. Lessons are not necessary. However I need some more practice. Good thing it’s super fun. All I want to do is go back!! Aimee and I decided we could paddleboard every single day.
Thank you Aimee for keeping me adventurous. You’re awesome.
After SUP we headed to the driving range. Not only is Aimee my SUP buddy, but she’s my golf buddy too. After hitting nearly 3 buckets of balls, I called it quits for the night. I’m getting better. Hopefully I keep getting better so that when I golf next week I don’t make a fool of myself.
And she’s my froyo buddy! Frozen yogurt makes for an excellent dinner choice some nights. Ok, most nights!
red velvet + dark chocolate with cocoa krispies, waffle pieces, cookie dough, and berries
Aimee and I are now addicted to paddleboarding. We are SUP buddies for life.
