Today was my last day of work for 2013. I have a major staycation in the works witch a pretty big to-do list. I’m not going to let any of this time go to waste.

So what am I going to do with all of this time off from work?

Paint some mason jars. I have more mason jars than I know what to do with so I figured why not have an arts & crafts day? Could be fun. No clue what I will do with them, but they will be beautiful.

I plan on going to yoga. A lot. Like so much that I’ll be in Madison on the regular. I might even check out a studio in Roscoe. Let the yoga binge commence!

Abby and I are going to experiment with some new juice recipes. The juicer has been very neglected lately. All that cleaning…who has time for that? Well I have time now!

I’m going to create a┬áchalkboard wall. There is a transition wall between my kitchen and living room that is perfect for this. I’m pretty excited that Benjamin Moore let’s you pick chalkboard paint in any color.

Sleep. Oh am I going to sleep. I’ve been a bit sleep deprived lately.

Go to the movies! I haven’t been to the movies in months, and there are two movies I am dying to see – Anchorman 2, Wolf of Wall Street, and Saving Mr. Banks.

Bake some cinnamon rolls. From scratch.

Eat said cinnamon rolls and then swim off the calories.

Organize my closets. Every closet in my house is embarrassing. This must stop before 2014! I hope to take bags full of stuff over to the Goodwill. 2014 will be about simplicity and first up is de-cluttering!

Eat lots of Mediterranean food. All that yoga in Madison is going to make me hungry. I’m going to need falafel.

Are you taking any time off from work around the holidays? What do you have planned?

Same here – 2 weeks staying in Madison. I can’t wait to clean, organize, read, exercise, and hopefully ski (I may be one of a few people who is looking forward to tonight’s storm).
